The Los Angeles Rams and Puka Nacua are coming off a season where they fell just one game shy of reaching the Super Bowl. A devastating loss in the NFC Championship game to their division rivals (Seattle) ended their season on a sour note.
In the months since Nacua has seen his personal life hit the spotlight after he was accused of some rather disturbing actions. Today, head coach Sean McVay decided to let the public know what he hopes his future will be with the team.

Rams’ HC Sean McVay Hopes To Keep Puka Nacua In LA
Despite Puka Nacua’s headline-making offseason, LA Rams head coach Sean McVay just told reporters that he hopes the superstar stays with the organization for many years to come:
“Love him, put your arm around him, want to continue to help him grow,” McVay said. “And, really, get all the appropriate facts before I rush to judgment on that particular situation. But I will say, knowing this guy for three years, is I do trust his heart. I trust the human being. And I want to be able to put my arm around him.”
He continued … “He knows that those are the expectations and we’re hopeful that that will be something that this will be an opportunity for him to learn and grow and we are hopeful that he’s a Ram for a really long time.”
“But he understands what the responsibility is — not exclusive to just the production on the field.”
Nacua is being accused of biting a woman and using an antisemitic slur during a night out in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.
Levi McCathern, his attorney, says the bite occurred during horseplay. However, the Rams star denies that he said an anit jewish slur at dinner that night.
Nacua and McVay have had plenty of discussions about what is expected of him both on and off the field. McVay made it clear trusts Nacua’s character. It will be interesting to see if there are any other off-the-field incidents that get in the way of Nacua’s career. Here is a look at McVay’s response:
