Chelsea in talks sign Milan star–£60M man tipped for move–Blues fans told£150M star to make move

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest that you guys may have missed…

Chelsea have intensified their pursuit of AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlović after opening talks over a potential summer transfer, according to fresh reports from Italy.

The 24-year-old centre-back has emerged as a priority target for the Blues as they look to overhaul their defence ahead of next season.Corriere Dello Sport indicate Chelsea have now gone beyond initial interest and made contact to explore the conditions of a deal, signalling a more concrete approach.

Pavlovic, who has earned 52 caps for Serbia, has been one of AC Milan’s standout performers this season, establishing himself as a key figure under Massimiliano Allegri. His development has not gone unnoticed, with Chelsea closely monitoring his progress and placing him high on their list of defensive targets.

The London club are believed to be preparing an offer in the region of €40 million (£34.6m), although Milan are expected to demand significantly more—potentially closer to €60m—given his importance to their long-term plans. With two years remaining on his contract and Milan keen to build their defence around him, negotiations are unlikely to be straightforward.

***CHELSEA***’s interest comes amid a broader defensive rebuild, with inconsistency at the back a recurring issue this season. The club are expected to prioritise at least one major signing in central defence, and Pavlovic’s profile—young, physically dominant, and already experienced at the top level—fits their recruitment strategy.

There is also a growing belief that Chelsea’s strong transfer relationship with Milan could play a role in facilitating discussions, with several recent deals between the clubs potentially smoothing negotiations.

What Pavlovic would bring to Stamford Bridge

Pavlovic looks tailor-made for the Premier League. Standing at over 6ft 3in, he offers a commanding aerial presence that CHELSEA have arguably lacked in recent seasons. His physicality and aggressive, front-foot defending would immediately add steel to a backline that has often appeared vulnerable.

COLE PALMER TO LEAVE?

Fresh reports have claimed that Cole Palmer is becoming disillusioned with life at Chelsea and could look to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

According to the SUN, sources close to the player claim Palmer has concerns about the club’s long-term direction amid another inconsistent season at Stamford Bridge. While no formal transfer request has been made, the report indicates that the England international would be willing to assess his options should a suitable offer arrive

Palmer, who joined CHELSEA from Manchester City in 2023, has quickly established himself as one of the club’s standout performers. His creativity, composure, and eye for goal have made him a central figure in Chelsea’s rebuild, and he remains under a long-term contract.

Despite this, ongoing speculation reflects wider uncertainty surrounding the club’s project. Chelsea’s heavy investment in young talent has yet to consistently translate into results, leading to questions about stability, squad balance, and managerial direction. For a player of Palmer’s rising stature, such instability could naturally fuel transfer talk—particularly with several top European clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.

However, there has been no official confirmation from Chelsea or Palmer’s representatives to substantiate claims of unrest. Internally, the club are understood to view him as untouchable and a cornerstone of their future plans.

Will Palmer really leave Chelsea in the summer.

Look, there has been alot of speculation about Cole, there has been so many rumours that he is in the headlines on a daily basis, but we cant see the attacker leaving the club when the transfer window opens up.

He has shown no desire that he wants to leave, yes he may be frustrated with how things have gone this season, but we are sure that he will stay put and help the club achieve its goals next season.

There will continue to be alot of CHELSEA rumours regarding the attacker, but we are sure he is going nowhere guys.

JOAO PEDRO TIPPED FOR ARSENAL

Former Keinan Davis has fuelled fresh transfer speculation by suggesting João Pedro could one day swap Chelsea for Arsenal, amid the striker’s impressive form in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old forward has enjoyed a standout debut season at CHELSEA following his £60 million move from Brighton last summer. Pedro has established himself as the club’s first-choice striker, and is pushing towards the 20-goal mark—a feat no Chelsea forward has achieved since Diego Costa.

Asked whether he knew Pedro had another gear while playing for Championship side Watford, Davis told alkSPORT ‘Yeah, for sure. You saw his quality in training.

‘Even playing with him, he’s Brazilian, so he’s just got that flair and belief in himself that he knows he’s a very good player. He’s a good guy as well. He’s not disrespectful or anything like that; he’s just a top person. So yeah, you could definitely see that you can move on to make big steps.

‘To see him at CHELSEA now is like… even if he went to Arsenal or something like that, I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s very good.’

Would Pedro move to Arsenal?

Look, we dont think that Davis knows what he is talking about to be honest, Pedro has only just joined the club, he is happy, he is playing and although we are not at the clubs best, we always challenge for trophies and play champions league football.

A move across London does not make sense and we cant see this happening unless a crazy offer of over £100 million is made for Pedro, which i am sure that any CHELSEA fan would accept.

But this is just a insane comment to make right now.
