**Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi has picked up a knee injury on international duty with Spain.**
The 27-year-old replaced Rodri for the final 15 minutes of the 3-0 friendly win over Serbia on Friday night.
However, it was subsequently announced that Zubimendi had withdrawn from the squad ahead of the game against Egypt due to “discomfort” in his knee.
The Spaniard will undergo medical examinations before deciding whether he will be fit to face Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-final this weekend.

The Ecuadorian played the first 72 minutes of Ecuador’s friendly against Morocco on Friday before he was substituted.
It has now been confirmed that Hincapie will return to London before his country play the Netherlands tomorrow.
The defender is set to undergo an assessment by Arsenal’s medical staff, but the nature of the injury is unclear.
Hincapie will only have a few days to recover before the Southampton game at St Mary’s this Saturday.
