Six of our women’s players have been called up to the England senior women’s squad for the upcoming international break.
Taylor Hinds, Chloe Kelly, Beth Mead, Alessia Russo, Leah Williamson and Lotte Wubben-Moy will all be in contention for FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Spain and Iceland.
The match against Spain is up first at 7pm on Tuesday, April 14, with our English gunners set to go head-to-head with Laia Codina and Mariona Caldentey, should they both be called up for Spain.
Then, at 5.30pm UK time on Saturday, April 18, England travel to Reykjavik in Iceland for what will be the Lionesses’ 500th international fixture.
