The Shrimpers’ home clash with the Glovers last season was overshadowed by the performance of referee Abigail Byrne and fourth official Tommy Breen.

The officials opted to red card Blues goalkeeper Zach Jeacock along with Maher himself before both decisions were later rescinded.
In a strange twist of fate, Byrne will now also be in charge when Blues take on Yeovil again tonight, albeit this time without Breen.
But, when asked about the appointment, Maher gave very little away.
“I have no views about it,” said Maher.
“I got cleared of the sending-off at the time but from my point of view it was disappointing it happened.
“But the referee comes as part of a team and I think that was more to do it with it than the actual referee.”
Tonight’s clash is the first time Byrne has officiated Blues since last season’s clash with Yeovil.
