Today, we have two questions in the Reacts survey. The questions ask you to look at a list of players currently on the Commanders roster, and predict which will lead the team in receiving and rushing touchdowns.
For the purposes of the survey, assume we’re talking only about the regular season (not playoffs) if that would have made any difference to your answers.
I’ve opted for a pretty basic presentation of statistics — all raw, with no averages or second-level metrics.
A confusing array of factors to consider
There are a few new names on the two lists of Commanders that comprise the possible answers to our two questions, and any or all of the players on the list could be used in new and interesting ways this season. For example, at least three of them have a history of being successful as receivers in the screen game (White, Brown & Okonkwo); will any or all of them get used that way in the 2026 Commanders offense?
And how will the change from a no-huddle, shotgun oriented offense to an under-center, outside zone, play-action offense change the dynamics of the Commanders attack?
Confounding factors in any effort to project production include the fact that (1) the team has a new, first-time offensive coordinator, David Blough, with no track record of how his scheme will use these players; and (2) the roster is not complete — the Commanders may yet add significant talent at the WR or RB position in the draft, free agency, or via trade whose presence on the field may change the calculus.
Not to worry. Work with the information you have today; consider the list of players in the question, and do your best crystal ball gazing. Who will be putting up the points on the ground and through the air in the coming regular season?

While you are certainly free to simply share which choices you made on the survey questions, the most interesting comments will explain why you answered the way you did. I rely on those comments when discussing the results of the survey when they are posted in a separate article the next few days.
