An Arsenal player is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League rivals Everton ahead of the summer.
Mikel Arteta will be pleased to see certain players returning from the international break, although there are still concerns following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.

One player who found things difficult in that match was Ben White, who had a tough time dealing with the pace and trickery of Jeremy Doku and Rayan Cherki.
Despite that performance, the defender was still selected for Thomas Tuchel’s England squad during the March international break.
Everton leading the race for White
Even with his return to the international setup, White’s long-term future at Arsenal remains uncertain. The defender has lost his place in the starting line-up, with Jurrien Timber firmly establishing himself as the club’s first-choice right-back after an impressive run of form.
Reports from FourFourTwo suggest that Everton are showing strong interest in signing White and are currently viewed as the frontrunners to secure his signature. A move could prove to be a smart addition for the Merseyside club, particularly if they manage to qualify for European competition under David Moyes.
So far this season, White has played more of a squad role, contributing when called upon but struggling to nail down regular starts. Across all competitions, he has featured 19 times, registering one goal and two assists—solid numbers considering his limited minutes on the pitch.
Arsenal originally signed the England international for a fee in the region of £52 million from Brighton, and they would likely be aiming to recoup a significant portion of that investment if they decide to sell. A fee of around £40 million has been suggested as a potential valuation for the defender.
Having not represented England since March 2022 prior to his recent call-up, White is now back in contention at international level, but his club situation remains less certain. With strong competition for places at Arsenal, a summer transfer could become a realistic outcome if Everton follow up their interest with a concrete offer.
