Gavin Mulreany: The Donegal netminder had a nervy moment early on in Sunday’s National Football League Final when he failed to claim a high ball. However, he later made up for it by denying Joe O’Connor with a superb stop after 30 minutes and Tomas Kennedy with another fine save towards the end of the contest. 8
Peadar Mogan: The Mountcharles man had the number 12 on his back but he lined out in the full-back line on Sunday afternoon against Jack O’Connor’s side. As well as carrying out his defensive duties with great effect, Mogan also got forward to kick a good score for Donegal in the first half. He cleared a shot from Graham O’Sullivan off the line in the opening minutes. 8
Caolan McColgan: A surprise at throw-in was that Caolan McColgan was the man tasked with the job of picking up David Clifford. However, it proved to be a fantastic decision as the Muff native didn’t shy away from the challenge and he wasn’t on the Footballer of the Year when he did get through for his goal. 8.5
Brendan McCole: The 2025 All-Star defender kept an eye on the threatening Dylan Geaney for the first half of this encounter, keeping him scoreless. He later picked up Tomas Kennedy when he was introduced from the Kerry bench and McCole also carried out this job well. 8

Caolan McGonagle: The Buncrana man enjoyed a good day at the office for Donegal on Sunday. His physicality around the middle third was a real asset for the side. He also got forward in Act Two to kick Donegal’s third goal of the decider. His hit on Clifford was a big moment in the first half. 8.5

Michael Langan: The 2025 All-Star midfielder was in fantastic form from minute one in the capital at the weekend. The Donegal joint-captain kicked six points in total for his side, including two two-pointers. He also broke the line brilliantly in Act Two to set up Conor O’Donnell’s major. 9.5

Conor O’Donnell: The Carndonagh native has been in superb form for Donegal this season and he continued this in Sunday’s showpiece. His speed and directness caused Kerry issues and he finished proceedings with a personal tally of 1-1. 8
Michael Murphy: The Donegal record appearance holder was cautioned with a yellow card by David Gough early on against Kerry. However, this didn’t affect his performance. Murphy helped to win his side some vital possession off Kerry kick-outs while also kicking 1-5. 9
