Watch: Jaxson Dart and GF Marissa Ayers Turn Heads During Omakase Night with Viral Influencer

Jaxson Dart took over the New York Giants’ starter role in Week 4, replacing Russell Wilson and providing a rare bright spot for a team that struggled all season.

Dart completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions across 14 games. His nine rushing touchdowns set a new single-season franchise record for a quarterback and rank third all-time among rookie signal-callers, behind Cam Newton and Billy Kilmer.

Now it’s the offseason, and the 22-year-old is living his best life. Recently, he was spotted around New York City with girlfriend Marissa Ayers, but nobody expected to see the viral food blogger alongside them to eat omakase.

NFL insider Dov Kleiman recently shared a trending clip on his X handle of Dart and Ayers at an omakase pop-up in New York City.

Food influencer Jack’s Dining Room allegedly hosted the dining experiences at the Yes Chef Food Festival behind signature green curtains. Dart, Ayers, and their group were seen at the table in a short video clip, which Kleiman noted was trending on the platform.

According to Ayers’ TikTok, their first date in October featured dinner in NYC and a Broadway showing of The Great Gatsby. Tasting omakase with a viral creator is a natural next step for the pair as they become fixtures in the city.

They began dating in October, and Ayers attended her first Giants game that December. She confirmed their romantic connection on Instagram in early January with a photo dump captioned, “rumor has it…”

Ayers, a Georgia native and University of Alabama graduate, was already an established model and influencer before meeting Dart. She has over 2 million followers and has worked with brands like SKIMS, Revolve, and L’Oréal.

Since going public, the two have been seen everywhere from food festivals in Los Angeles to the West Village and Dart’s hometown in Utah. Their recent omakase dinner has been added to the latest appearance.

Heading into his second year, the Giants have hired John Harbaugh to turn the 22-year-old into a legitimate star. Now, with the 2026 NFL draft approaching, the head coach has a message for his starting quarterback.

John Harbaugh sends message on Jaxson Dart

After finishing 4–13 in his rookie year, the Giants are moving quickly. At the NFL meetings in Phoenix on Monday, Harbaugh made it clear he isn’t interested in a slow rebuild.

“I want a high-powered offense. I want an offense that scores a lot of points, protects the football, is efficient, is effective, is in sync with all three phases,” Harbaughsaid.

Then he got specific about why Dart is central to all of it. Harbaugh explained that his system over the years with the Baltimore Ravens was built around multiple offensive elements — power run, dropback pass, RPOs, quick game, vertical shots off play action — and that Dart has the skillset to operate in all of them.

He emphasized Dart’s versatility as a rare asset, saying the quarterback can execute in a wide range of scheme concepts and doesn’t have many obvious limitations. “I’m not sure what he really can’t do,” Harbaugh added.

The Giants’ new coaching staff is set, with Matt Nagy as offensive coordinator and Brian Callahan focusing on quarterback development. This means Jaxson Dart will have to learn a completely new system from scratch for his second year, as the staff from his rookie season is gone.

And most importantly, Harbaugh won’t copy-paste Lamar Jackson’s scheme here because the goal is to play to Dart’s specific strengths as a dual-threat starter.
