The 2026 NFL Draft is just under four weeks away, and the Pittsburgh Steelers remain busy scouring the Pro Day circuit and hosting players for official pre-draft visits.
According to NFL Draft on SI’s Justin Melo, the Steelers are set to host another player for an official pre-draft visit sometime soon. That would be Memphis offensive tackle Travis Burke, a name that continues to generate serious buzz in the pre-draft process around the NFL.
Sources: The Pittsburgh Steelers will host Memphis OT Travis Burke on a pre-draft "30" visit.
One of the hottest prospects right now, Burke is up to 8 (!) Top 30 visits on his calendar.

Burke measured in at 6086, 325 pounds at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, with 34 1/4-inch arms, 10 1/8-inch hands and an 81 1/8-inch wingspan. He clocked a 5.17 40-yard dash, had an 8’11” broad jump and a 27-inch vertical at the Combine, too.
Last season with the Tigers after transferring from Florida International, Burke started 11 games at right tackle before suffering a season-ending injury. Prior to his time with Memphis, Burke started 22 games for the Panthers, and also spent two seasons at Gardner-Webb where he started another 14 games.
We’ll have a full scouting report on Burke in the days ahead.
The interest in offensive tackle isn’t all that surprising from the Steelers, and Burke’s future official visit will mark the second offensive tackle the Steelers will have hosted at the South Side facility, joining Miami (FL)’s Markel Bell, who visited the Steelers back on March 6. The Steelers also previously hosted Georgia Tech guard Keylan Rutledge for a pre-draft visit, too, on March 20.
That interest in the tackle position comes as Broderick Jones continues to recovery from season-ending neck surgery after suffering an injury in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears. While Dylan Cook played well down the stretch, he’s inexperienced, and the Steelers also cut veteran Calvin Anderson early in the offseason, so tackle remains a need.
Travis Burke measured in at 6’9, 325lbs with 34.25” arms, one of the best size profiles in the entire class

Steelers GM Omar Khan did provide a positive update on Jones on Monday at the NFL Owners meetings in Arizona, stating that Jones is in a good place. But neck fusion surgery is concerning for an offensive tackle. Plus, when he was healthy Jones wasn’t exactly great at tackle, leading the Steelers to potentially looking at upgrading the position once again.
With great size and plenty of experience in college with three different programs and three different levels of competition, Burke could be a nice developmental piece for new offensive line coaches James Campen and Jahri Evans to work with moving forward.
