Seattle Seahawks cornerback Josh Jobe made the 2025 season one to remember. The 27-year-old started 15 of 16 regular season games, recording 54 tackles, one interception, and 12 passes defended. He carried that form through the NFC Championship win over the Los Angeles Rams and into Super Bowl LX, where the Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 on February 8.
Now, weeks after lifting the Lombardi Trophy, Jobe is celebrating something even closer to his heart.
Josh Jobe & Nayomie Announce Birth of Daughter Ami Elizabeth
Fresh off Seattle’s championship run, Jobe and his wife Nayomie have welcomed their first child together. The couple announced the news on social media, sharing hospital photos that instantly warmed up their timeline. One image shows the two leaning over the bassinet, gently reaching toward their newborn. Another captures them both kissing the tiny baby with pure, unguarded joy on their faces.
They named their daughter Ami Elizabeth Jobe. Alongside the photos, the couple wrote: “We’d risk it all for you our princess! In love with you and this little life we have.”
The birth caps a remarkable stretch for the Miami native. The couple got engaged in April 2025, following a romantic oceanside proposal in Puerto Rico that Nayomie described as “a million times yes.” While love was growing at home, Jobe was equally impressive on the field.

In the Super Bowl, Jobe denied Drake Maye on a critical third-down throw as Seattle’s defense held the Patriots scoreless through three quarters. That performance sealed his value in Seattle.
Earlier this month, the Seahawks re-signed Jobe to a three-year, $26 million deal, including $14.25 million in guarantees and a first-year cap hit of just $4.5 million.
Teammate and safety Julian Love summed up Jobe’s year simply:“He had a tall task all year, and he met that task.”
Seattle Seahawks enters 2026 with a 14-3 regular season record and a target on their backs. Jobe is expected to remain a cornerstone of a secondary that led the league in scoring defense last season. For Jobe, this offseason carries a different weight. Between film sessions and conditioning workouts, he is settling into fatherhood for the first time.
Every opponent is hungry to knock Seattle off the top. The New England Patriots figure among the fiercest challengers aiming to flip the script in 2026. The ring is on Jobe’s finger, the daughter is in his arms, and the work begins again.
