Max Dowman's brilliance was again on show as the teenager scored a magnificent solo goal for England's U19s - just weeks after becoming the Premier League's youngest scorer

Max Dowman scored another stunning solo goal as he shone for England's U19s - but their win over Portugal wasn't enough to see them qualify for this year's Euros.
The Arsenal teenage sensation scored one and laid on two assists as the Young Lions ran riot, securing a 6-0 win. Jesse Derry grabbed a brace whilst Ezra Mayers, Shumaira Mheuka and Harry Howell also got in on the act.
The dominant win wasn't enough though as Serbia's victory over Poland means they take top spot in Group 2 to book their place at the tournament.
England's U19s got off to a flying start and only needed four minutes to take the lead as Derry finished past Diogo Ferreira. They would then score five times in the second half with Dowman's effort the pick of the bunch. The 16-year-old recently became the Premier League's youngest ever goalscorer and, not for the first time this year, showed some individual brilliance.
On Tuesday he picked up the ball out on the right, inside his own half, before dribbling past two defenders, travelling all the way to the Portugal 18 yard box and finishing impressively into the corner.
It drew comparisons with a goal he scored in a 4-2 win for Arsenal against Bayern Munich’s U19 side. After picking up the ball on the right he breezed past two players before producing a Maradona spin to evade a third defender, then finishing with a stunning chip over the goalkeeper.
Dowman's stock continues to rise and he recently scored late on in a win for the Gunners over Everton, which saw his name up in lights as he made history. He'd been given several run outs this season, but that was his first goal for Arsenal with the teenager tipped to scale huge heights.

After the achievement Mikel Arteta said: "I think the decision that you make has to be delivered. You have to see him train every single day, he does it against these defenders who are in my opinion the best in the world." He also added: "It was a moment for him, probably because he doesn’t seem to be phased by the occasion, the opponent or the game."
Dowman has long had the eye of some of Arsenal's leading lights. Martin Odegaard made him take centre stage after a pre-season game, where he had shone. Declan Rice has also been aiding his development with the pair retaining a good working relationship.
