Giants’ John Harbaugh Spotted With Free Agent WR At Hotel After NFL Owners Meeting

John Harbaugh was hired on as the New York Giants’ head coach shortly after he was let go by the Baltimore Ravens. Harbaugh’s decision to go to New York was largely due to the young core they have on offense in Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and Malik Nabers. Those three coming back healthy in 2026 will be huge for the future of their team.

However, there is a veteran wide receiver who many fans are clamoring for the team to sign. It just so happens that Harbaugh was spotted with him at a hotel during the annual NFL Owners meeting.

Giants’ John Harbaugh Talks With Free Agent WR At NFL Owners Meeting

According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, Beckham Jr. was seen with Giants coach John Harbaugh at the hotel where the meetings are taking place:

“Odell, who lives in Phoenix, came to the hotel hosting the owners’ meetings last night and was spotted sitting and talking with John Harbaugh,”Duggan said.

“Don’t think anything is imminent, but Odell’s interest in a return to NY is obvious. As I wrote yesterday, don’t think the Giants’ interest can be considered serious until they have him in for a workout.”

According to Connor Hughes of SNY, Beckham Jr. arranged. His motivation for returning to the team where he was drafted seems genuine.

Beckham Jr. will play for Harbaugh for the second time if he ends up with the Giants in 2026. He played for the Ravens during the 2023 season.

During Harbaugh’s media appearance at the league owners’ meeting on Monday, he spoke extensively about his relationship with the wide receiver:

“If Odell’s an option, then we’ll be looking at it, for sure. And he and I do talk, and we do text, and we’ve maintained a really great relationship. He’s one of my very favorite people in the world.”

“We’ll just have to see where it all goes. You know, what’s best for him, what’s best for the Giants. That’s the number one thing. It is what’s best for our team and any player. You know, if he helps you be a better team and can make you better, then you’re going to pursue that. So we’ll just have to see where that goes.”
