JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The Jaguars will be playing football next year in Orlando, not Gainesville, while their home stadium in Jacksonville is renovated.
On Tuesday, NFL owners unanimously approved the team to play home games at Camping World Stadium in Orlando during the 2027 NFL season.
Initially, the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium [was in the running](https://www.wcjb.com/2025/02/25/decision-looms-jaguars-home-2027-season-gainesville-orlando-running/) to host the Jaguars; however, the team chose Camping World instead.
The team’s new stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2028 regular season. The Jaguars will play home games at EverBank Stadium in 2026 at limited capacity.
