The NFL is currently holding its annual league meeting in Arizona with new rules being discussed and five changes already agreed upon ahead of the 2026 season.
The Los Angeles Rams had been very vocal in changing a rule that had never been discussed before - one in which the Seattle Seahawks greatly benefitted from en route to their Super Bowl winning season. Zach Charbonnet scored a touchdown without even knowing it which helped the team gain the No. 1 seed.

New Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken missed out on the NFL's annual coaching photo at the league meeting in Arizona after he accidentally booked his hair cut at the same time as the meeting.
Monken looked to get a hair cut for the image but got his timings mixed up, meaning he was not able to make it back and missed out.
It's a moment which has gone viral and leaving Browns fans somewhat embarrassed, who have not had the best of luck in recent years - having the worst record in the NFL over the past 20 years.

Five changes to the NFL rules have been accepted this week with one allowing the league's officiating department to aid them should they look to go on strike.
The NFL and NFLRA are said to not be close to agreeing a deal, with referees looking for a significant pay rise heading into the 2026 season - with replacement refs ready to take over if this is to happen. Replacement referees are regularly from college football.
The onside kick rule has also been changed, with teams able to execute the play even if they are not trailing.

Drake Maye has gone for a buzz cut while shaving off his hair ahead of the 2026 season, with some comparing him to Tom Brady's look through his early days with the New England Patriots.

The quarterback has actually shaved his head for a charitable cause, raising over $4 million in the process for Boston's Children's Hospital.
“It’s such a cool experience to be able to shine a positive light and to be there for them and help in any way we can,” Maye said. “There are times I’ve been with Boston Children’s Hospital patients, and it’s pretty cool... To do anything I can to try to put a smile on their face.”
