Former Miami Dolphins’ star Zach Wilson’s 2025 season didn’t go as planned. The former No. 2 pick played only four games for the Miami Dolphins, finishing with just 32 yards on six completions. While his career has stalled, his life off the field is moving fast.
Wilson and Nicolette Dellanno married at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on June 28, 2025. This week, less than a year after their wedding, the couple announced they are expecting their first child.

Now 26, Wilson is starting 2026 with a new family on the way and a new team, having recently signed with the New Orleans Saints.
Zach Wilson’s wife Nicolette stuns in white with jaw-dropping pregnancy reveal
They announced the news on Instagram with a few photos in an open field. Nicolette wore a white dress and held a strip of ultrasound images, while Wilson stood next to her with a vintage camera. A second black-and-white shot shows her smiling up at him with the sonogram film draped over his shoulder.
Nicolette kept the caption short, penning, “You are already so loved, baby ♥.”
The announcement marks a fast-moving personal chapter for the 26-year-old quarterback. Wilson proposed to Nicolette in June 2024 during a trip to Italy before they married at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City on June 28. Now, just nine months into their marriage, they are preparing for parenthood.
This personal milestone coincides with another new attempt in his professional career, as last month, Wilsonsigned a one-year deal with the Saints.
NFL fans couldn’t contain themselves
However, people are genuinely happy for the couple.
“You’re going to be the best parents ever 😭 Can’t wait to see you as a mommy I love you so much ❤️❤️,” one follower wrote.
Another added, “Love this little baby SO much already 🤍🤍🤍🤍.”
A third penned, “GOING TO BE THE BEST PARENTS EVRRRRRR.” A fourth added, “IM SO HAPPY FOR YOUU 🤍🤍.”
A random IG user noted, “Screaming!!! I am so happy for your little family 😭🤍.”
Another excited fan remarked, “I’m so excited to meet this perfect baby.”
After a quiet 2025 season where he played only four games for the Miami Dolphins, he now joins a competitive quarterback room in New Orleans. He is expected to compete for thebackup role behind starter Tyler Shough, alongside Spencer Rattler.
