**Sonia Bompastor**believes a comeback is still possible against **Arsenal**in the Champions League.
**Chelsea**have suffered from a turbulent second season under their head coach, slipping far adrift of Manchester City at the top of the Women’s Super League. They won the League Cup crown last month, but a minor miracle is needed to beat the reigning champions and overturn a two-goal deficit.
The Gunners earned the trophy in Lisbon for the second time in their history thanks to a 1-0 triumph against **Barcelona**last May, and a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium has put them on the path to the final four. They are unbeaten in their two previous meetings with the Blues before this quarterfinal clash (a 1-1 stalemate and 2-0 victory in the Women’s Super League) but the story can change.
“That's the beauty of football – everything can happen, and that's why people enjoy watching football games so much. We are confident because that's our job to be confident, as players and staff.
“We know it will be a challenge and a battle, but if you analyse the performance we put in the first leg, I think there is a lot of belief we can play a really good game. Our job is to come into the game with confidence and belief because we have enough quality to turn things around.
“I think as a manager I need to be really detailed in terms of tactics and what we want to achieve.
“I think this team has the capacity to play with a back three or a back four. We are also capable of making some tweaks in midfield and sometimes in the front line. It’s really good for me as a manager to have players who have that ability to change and to adapt. It's more to find a good balance between playing into our strengths but also making sure we are ready for every scenario in the game.
“So, my decisions go with what I think is going to happen [on Wednesday] in the game.”
