The New Orleans Saints dove into free agency to add Travis Etienne to their offense this offseason. The addition of Etienne is a huge move to push Tyler Shough's offense in the right direction. But it could spell bad news for veteran running back Alvin Kamara.
Kamara quickly emerged as a trade or cut candidate once the Saints acquired Etienne. Kamara was a trade or cut candidate before the Saints made this move, but he's definitely somebody who could be on the move in the coming weeks or months.
In fact, there are a handful of teams around the league who could use a running back like Kamara on their roster right now.
If the Saints opt to trade him, which teams could look to land him this offseason?

The Kansas City Chiefs could use some help at running back this season. They already dove into free agency to land Kenneth Walk III, but they could use a complementary back. Adding a veteran like Kamara with the ability to take some of the workload off of Walker would be a huge step in the right direction for the Chiefs. This would be the kind of move that could help the offense move in the right direction as Patrick Mahomes works back from a major knee injury.

The Saints stole Etienne away from the Jaguars in free agency. Now, they could look to steal a draft pick from them, too, by sending Kamara to Jacksonville to replace the young star. The Jaguars are a good team with the ability to win right now. Adding a win-now running back with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield would be a step in the right direction for Jacksonville.

The Cincinnati Bengals don't desperately need to add a running back to their offense, but if they could add Kamara in exchange for a late-round pick swap, it would be worth the flier. They still have money to spend after not being aggressive in free agency. Using that money to land Kamara by only giving up a swap of picks late in the NFL draft would bolster the offense. Obviously, this could change if they land Jeremiyah Love at the top of the draft, though that's unlikely.
