Osborn spent a majority of the 2024 NFL season with the New England Patriots. The veteran wideout came to the Patriots on a 1-year, $4 million contract in free agency two years ago.
During 2024, he had seven receptions, 57 receiving yards and two touchdowns in seven games with New England.
Last year, Osborn mostly served as a practice squad wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. He played the first four seasons of his career with the Minnesota Vikings after the team made him a 2020 fifth-round pick.

Osborn will try to carve out a role for the Titans this offseason after not appearing in a regular season game last season.
The receiver signed his 1-year contract with the Patriots after three consecutive strong seasons with the Vikings. From 2021-23, the wideout had at least 48 receptions and 540 receiving yards every season.
During 2021, he registered 50 catches, 655 receiving yards and seven scores.
But Osborn struggled to find a consistent role with the Patriots. He had just five catches for 31 yards in his first four starts of 2024. The veteran didn’t start for New England again after that.
The Patriots waived Osborn after Week 14 in December. He immediately joined the Washington Commanders but only played one game the remainder of 2024.
Osborn spent last offseason with the Commanders. The team released him after training camp. He finished 2025 on the Falcons practice squad.
With the Titans, Osborn is joining a receiving corps that includes Calvin Ridley, Wan’Dale Robinson, Elic Ayomanor, Bryce Oliver, Mason Kinsey, Chimere Dike, Xavier Restrepo and Hal Presley III.
Tennessee also signed veteran wideout Lance McCutcheon to a 1-year deal Wednesday.
How the Patriots Replaced Osborn Last Season

Osborn didn’t make the impact in New England the Patriots hoped he could. But after he struggled early in 2024, the team took the opportunity to move forward with its young pass-catchers.
DeMario Douglas led the Patriots with 621 receiving yards in 2024. Fellow receiver Kayshon Boutte finished second with 589 yards while averaging 13.7 yards per catch.
This past season when New England won the AFC championship, Stefon Diggs led the team in receiving. But Boutte was second among Patriots wideouts with 551 receiving yards while Douglas finished fourth with 447 yards.
The experience those two receivers gained in 2024 and 2025 could be key for the Patriots next season. In 2026, they will have to replace Diggs, who the team released in March.
In NFL free agency, the Patriots added veteran wideout Romeo Doubs.
With the Titans, Osborn will try to regain the form he had with the Vikings. In his NFL career overall, the veteran receiver has 165 catches, 1,902 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns.
Osborn, who played college football at both Buffalo and Miami (FL), will turn 29 years old in June.
