NFL fans have expressed their anger at inflated ticket prices for the blockbuster NFL game between San Francisco 49ers and LA Rams at Melbourne's MCG in September.
In a ticket pre-sale for MCC members and American Express cardholders on Wednesday, some restricted view tickets for the September 11 match were priced at $630.
There were tickets on sale for cheaper - $95 for standing room and $140 for cheapest seats - but fans reported these tickets sold out nearly instantly.
Tickets on level two of the MCG were seen as high as $920 as fans used social media to state their frustration at the prices.

My Melbourne based Fantasy Football league have pretty much unanimously decided against getting NFL tix at the MCG.

So much for the $140 seats to the NFL. Tried 2 x Pre-sales this morning. AmEx seats were going for $450 minimum. MCC seats were $260 minimum, but even single seats became “unavailable” whenever I tried to purchase (even very back row of MCG). 🤦🏻♂️
