The Dallas Cowboys have been made aware of a mug shot going viral after one of their former second round draft picks was arrested for beating a woman. The picture has generated reactions from across the league as he seems to have no remorse for what he has done.

Former Cowboys’ DL Trysten Hill Smiles For Mug Shot

Arrest records show that Hill was arrested on March 26th, 2026 after an incident with a pregnant woman. He is currently facing a third-degree felony assault of a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency request for assistance.

Exactly who this woman was has not been released to the public. Neither has her relationship (or lack there of one) with Hill has been disclosed.

Trysten Hill was booked into jail in Waxahachie, Texas around 2:30pm. His bail was set at $3,500.

Who Is Trysten Hill?

Hill was a second round draft pick for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was taken 58th overall out of the University of Central Florida. He would go on to play for the Cowboys from 2019-22. His statistics were underwhelming for a second round draft pick, finishing his time in Dallas playing 25 games, recording 39 total tackles, and 1/2 of a sack.

He would go on to spend time with the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots. He hasn’t played in the NFL since 2024.
