The latest Man Utd fixture news with pre-seasons plans set to be announced for the summer.
Manchester United are set to announce six European friendly matches for their pre-season schedule this summer.
The Reds are set to play friendly matches in Finland, Sweden, Norway, the Republic of Ireland and Poland, after they opted against a tour to Asia. It is understood United will base themselves at their Carrington training complex and make short trips for each match to minimise travel.
United will be without several senior stars during the first weeks of pre-season due to the World Cup, with those involved in the tournament entitled to a break after their participation ends. The World Cup final will take place the same weekend as their first friendly, so any player who reaches the last four of the tournament will not be expected back until early August, when United are scheduled to face their toughest opponents.

Manchester United pre-season scheduled 'confirmed'
Manchester United will begin their 2026/27 pre-season schedule with a friendly match against Wrexham in Helsinki on Saturday 18 July. It will be a tough test for a youthful United side against a team that is currently 7th in the Championship table and could even be a Premier League side by the time the match is played.
United will be back in action the following week when they face Norwegian side Rosenborg in Trondheim on Friday 24 July. That match will be followed by a double-header in Sweden, with matches against Atletico Madrid in Stockholm on Saturday 1 August and Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on Saturday 8 August. It is not clear whether United will remain in Sweden between those two matches for a training camp.
The final week of the pre-season schedule will see United face Leeds in Dublin on Wednesday 12 August, before a final friendly against AC Milan in Wroclaw on Saturday 15 August. The new Premier League season will begin on the weekend of 22 August, a week after the Milan match in Poland.
