Barcelona have added Real Betis' Abde Ezzalzouli to their list of targets as they eye reinforcements in the attacking positions this summer, various sources have told ESPN.
Abde, 24, made 14 first team appearances for Barça during three years with the club before signing for Betis in 2023 in a deal worth an initial €7.5 million ($8.6m).
As part of that operation, Hansi Flick's side maintain an option to re-sign the Morocco international in the future as well as 50% of any future transfer away from Betis.
ESPN revealed recently that Barça are keen to make two signings as part of an attacking shake-up ahead of next season.
The Spanish champions want a winger to add depth behind Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.

They would also like to sign a No.9 as they wait and see what happens with Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
Lewandowski's contract expires in the summer, but the club are open to offering the veteran striker a new deal on reduced terms, while they will listen to offers for Torres, who has a contract until 2027.
Sources explain that Abde, who has 23 goals in 117 Betis appearances, perfectly fits what Barça are looking for out wide as a player with pace but also the ability and trickery to beat an opponent.
However, he is not the only option on the table.
Much will depend on what happens with Marcus Rashford's future.

The England international is on loan from Manchester United, but Barça have an option to make the move permanent for €30m, with ESPN explaining this week they must make that decision before June 15.
Jan Virgili, who left Barça for Mallorca last summer, is another option, while Osasuna's Víctor Muñoz, previously of both Real Madrid and Barcelona, has also been linked.
In addition to a wide player, Barça's preferred striker option is Atlético Madrid's Julian Julián Álvarez, with a centre-back also wanted -- ESPN revealed recently that Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni is liked -- but it remains unclear what the club's exact budget will be in the summer.
