Which London Club Will Be Relegated from the Premier League?

Two London rivals are locked in the midst of a generational relegation battle. Both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are staring down the barrel of a gun – but who is the most likely to be relegated at the end of the Premier League season?

Today, we’ll be looking at each of their next five games in all competitions. Both of them have some tough fixtures coming up – likewise, they each have some winnable games on the horizon.

We’ll cover West Ham’s upcoming five games first. Arguably, the Hammers have a tougher run in, but there isn’t much between the two.

Then, we will move onto Spurs – following the sacking of Igor Tudor and subsequent appointment of Roberto De Zerbi, how do their next quintet Premier League games look?

West Ham next 5 Premier League fixtures

Leeds United (A) – FA Cup Quarter-Final

Spurs’ next game is a crucial one – they’ll take on relegation rivals Leeds United in a real six-pointer. The Whites have struggled to score goals as of late, having found the back of the net just once in their last five Premier League games.

The Irons, on the other hand, have only failed to score in one of their last five gamea across all competitions. If West Ham can get the early goal here, we’d back them to win – but given their current predicament, a deep FA Cup run is something they can probably do without.

Wolves (H) – Premier League

Wolves’ season has been little more than a disaster, but their form has improved somewhat in recent weeks. Furthermore, they demolished West Ham earlier on in the season by a score of 3-0.

The Hammers will be out for revenge in the reverse fixture. On the face of it, this looks like a relatively easy win – but West Ham’s less-than-stellar home record complicates things somewhat.

Crystal Palace (A) – Premier League

After a torrid run of form that saw their hopes of European qualification effectively torpedoed, Crystal Palace have pulled their socks up. They have only lost one of their last five games, keeping clean sheets in two of them – they also beat Tottenham away from home during this span of time.

Generally, West Ham perform better away from home than they do at the London Stadium. Palace, meanwhile, have a poor home record – this would indicate that the Hammers have a serious chance of winning this one.

Everton (H) – Premier League

Out of all the games the Hammers have coming up, this is the one they can probably write off. Everton have been a real surprise package this season, currently sitting 8th in the Premier League table.

With that being said, the Hammers’ conservative style of play could give Everton issues. The Toffees are a counterattacking team – West Ham could frustrate them and force them to take risks if they can defend their box effectively.

Brentford (A) – Premier League

This will also be a very, very tough game for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men. Brentford, being a physical outfit who like to disrupt play as much as possible, are an absolute nightmare for any team to come up against.

Despite their reputation, they aren’t particularly successful from set-pieces, having scored six goals from set plays all season. Nevertheless, they love to pump the ball into the box and down the channels – this is the sort of approach that West Ham have struggled to contain in 2025/26.
