Liverpool need to advance past Manchester City on Saturday if they are to keep their chances of silverware high this season.
The Reds are still in the Champions League, but with meetings against PSG, then one of Real Madrid or Bayern Munich coming up, the FA Cup seems like the last really good opportunity for Arne Slot to win something in 2025/26.
Peter Crouch, though, is not confident Liverpool will be able to get a result inside 90 minutes of action, instead backing a draw.

Peter Crouch thinks Liverpool and Manchester City will need penalties
Manchester City have already beaten Slot’s men twice in the Premier League this term.
The Dutchman had a good record against Pep Guardiola last term, but the tables have turned in what has been a poor season for the Merseyside outfit.
Now, speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast, the ex-Liverpool striker has highlighted how ‘poor’ his former side were in their recent meeting with Brighton, and suggested the game will end 2-2.
He said: “So listen, Liverpool are capable of getting a result. I know they’ve had a difficult season, but more than capable.

“I’m going to go for a draw. 2-2”
There are no replays in the quarter-final, meaning a draw would see the match decided on the day via penalties.
