Safety Dugger joins Bengals on one-year deal

Kyle Dugger is staying in the AFC North.

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the 30-year-old safety is joining the Cincinnati Bengals on a one-year deal.

Dugger spent the last half of 2025 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A native of Decatur, GA, Dugger was originally taken with the 37th overall selection of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Lenoir-Rhyne. He spent the first five-plus seasons of his career with the New England Patriots. In a combined 16 games last season, Dugger recorded 59 tackles, two interceptions, including a pick-six, and a sack.

For his career, Dugger has registered 483 tackles, 11 picks and 4.5 sacks in 90 games.

Dugger joins a Bengals secondary that also includes Jordan Battle, Bryan Cook, DJ Turner and Jalen Davis.
