Pape Gueye is World Cup bound
Pape Gueye is a regular for Senegal, with 40 appearances and five goals. He was part of their AFCON squad, playing 120 minutes in the Final against Morocco, which is still being contested.
Gueye is heading to the World Cup, which means if United did sign him, he would not be ready to join up for pre-season straight away. His release clause prevents his price getting inflated by the tournament.
