Trevoh Chalobah has fueled the nostalgia of the Stamford Bridge faithful by naming Eden Hazard as the greatest player he ever shared a pitch with during his time at Chelsea.
Eden Hazard’s seven-year tenure at Stamford Bridge cemented his status as one of the greatest individual talents in Chelsea’s modern history. Joining in 2012, the Belgian maestro became the creative heartbeat of the side, amassing 110 goals and 92 assists in 352 appearances.
He led the Blues to two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, an FA Cup, and a League Cup.
But his peak didn’t come until the 2014–15 season, when Hazard swept the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards. Beyond the trophies, he was a statistical juggernaut, creating 595 chances, more than any other player in the league during his stint.

Trevoh Chalobah picks Eden Hazard as his best-ever teammate
In a live Q&A with DAZN, Trevoh Chalobah was asked about the best player he has ever played with at Chelsea, and his answer is one you probably could have guessed.
He picked Eden Hazard.
Trevoh Chalobah and Eden Hazard never played together in a competitive first-team match. Chalobah was a regular fixture in first-team training sessions at Cobham during the Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri eras, so that’s what he’s alluding to.
This isn’t the first time that Hazard has been picked, as Cesar Azpilicueta also chose the Belgian as the best player that he has ever played with.
