Arsenal receive warning regarding Premier League title

Former Chelsea defender, Wayne Bridge, has sent a warning to Arsenal regarding their race to win the Premier League title this season after more than two decades.

According to Bridge, Arsenal have “put more pressure on themselves” in their bid to win the EPL after they pulled some of their players from international duty.

While their captain, Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze were unavailable in the Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City, however, at least 10 of their players Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Piero Hincapie, Leandro Trossard and Martin Zubimendi pulled out of their country’s matches citing various injury issues.

In contrast, only one player from Manchester City and Liverpool returned from their international duty early.

“You know the worst thing about it? I feel like they’ve put more pressure on themselves now,” Bridge said via The Dressing Room podcast.

He added it would be worse if Arsenal loss the league after their efforts.

As of now, Arsenal are seated at the top of the league table closely followed by Manchester City.
