FC Barcelona have already faced Atletico Madrid thrice this season, once in La Liga and twice in Copa del Rey, and now, the Blaugranes are going to face the side led by Diego Simeone another three times in the upcoming two weeks, once in La Liga and twice in the UEFA Champions League.

As [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/atletico-madrid/20260403/1004163952/rueda-prensa-simeone-directo-ultima-hora-atletico-madrid-fc-barcelona.html) has reported, one of the questions Diego Simeone had to face in his presser was about the biggest danger posed by the Barcelona team. Responding to this question, the Argentine refrained from naming any particular player, and believed the Catalan team as a whole is quite dangerous:
**“All their players, because they are extraordinary. They have the ability to play in the opponent’s half, to take away time so you don’t think. They do it in every match; it’s very difficult. They play with a high defensive line and take risks. We’ll have to take the game to where we can hurt them.”**
Of the three games the two sides have played so far this season, Barcelona won two, while Atletico won one. For now, it remains to be seen which of them would be able to get the better of the other as they face off in this crucial phase of the season.
