LEWISTON, Maine (WABI) - New England Patriots mascot Pat Patriot and two-time super bowl champion and former Patriots linebacker Rob Ninkovich were in Maine on Thursday to celebrate with a local hospital.
Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston unveiled a new Dunkin’ “joyful space” for patients and families at Central Maine Pediatrics.
The space was made possible by an 85-thousand-dollar grant from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation — which works to bring joy to children battling illness or hunger in communities nationwide.
Ninkovich joined hospital leadership for a ribbon-cutting.
The new “joyful space” is inside the pediatric waiting area at CMMC. It includes interactive features and colorful design elements aimed at improving the patient experience for children and their families.
