Liam Delap has struggled since making the move to Chelsea last summer, and is now reportedly considering a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Delap has just two goals in all competitions this season, and has come in for criticism for his performances when given opportunities.
He is perhaps not being helped by the fact Joao Pedro has hit the ground running since his move, offering the Englishman limited chances.

Liam Delap interested in move away from Chelsea
Journalist Simon Phillips has reported that Delap has been ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of a move to an interested club, potentially changing up Chelsea’s plans in the striker position moving forwards.
He said on his Substack: “However, SPTC Sources have heard now that Emegha could stay at Strasbourg for another season or at least until January, due to another Strasbourg striker, Joaquín Panichelli, going down with an ACL injury last week.

“Emegha staying at Strasbourg for longer was something that BlueCo were already exploring anyway – but this may well make the decision easier. It will all depend on his recovery progress, every player is different. BlueCo are weighing up all options to cover him.
“A lot of the above will depend on Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, who both have serious interest coming in for them. Delap is intrigued by the clubs approaching him, but I’ve not heard that Pedro wants out or anything along those lines yet – but Barcelona are calling for him.”
Chelsea were also linked with signing Panichelli, although his serious injury will see that plan likely put on the back burner for now at least.
Who would you sign to replace Marc Cucurella?
He hasn't ruled out a Chelsea exit…
Marc Cucurella discussing his future
Within just a few months of him joining, reports stated that some chiefs at Chelsea were having doubts over Delap following his summer addition.
There was praise for the Blues to complete the signing for a relatively low price in today’s market, although the step up from a relegated Premier League club has looked too much at times.
The fact some of his best performances have come in the FA Cup against lower-league opposition is worrying, and evidence that Chelsea should be looking at a more established star to lift their levels.
