Chelsea predicted XI vs Port Vale after Liam Rosenior sanctions Enzo Fernandez

Chelsea are looking to book another trip to Wembley in the FA Cup quarter-finals against Port Vale, however will be doing so without Enzo Fernandez in the side.

Liam Rosenior has confirmed the club have sanctioned Fernandez as a result of his recent comments discussing a potential future move to Real Madrid.

There will have certainly been some rotation for the Blues anyway, but midfielders have a chance to nail down more regular minutes for the rest of the campaign over the next two games.

Chelsea predicted XI vs Port Vale

The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted who will start in midfield, as well as the rest of the side looking to take down Port Vale at Stamford Bridge.

Despite the goalkeeping woes at the club right now, Robert Sanchez will remain in the side. He is likely going to be in goal for the remainder of the campaign.

As the Blues await the return of Reece James, Malo Gusto will start at right-back after an impressive international break. He is now likely to make the France squad this summer.

Josh Acheampong will be the first of a youthful central defensive partnership. The Blues are still without Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill.

He will be partnered by Mamadou Sarr, who has already started a number of key games since joining up with the first team squad in January.

Marc Cucurella avoided an in-house suspension from the club, but he will still be rested as Jorrel Hato gets a start.

Andrey Santos will start for Chelsea, as they get a rare chance to hand Moises Caicedo a rest from the action.

He will be joined in the side by Romeo Lavia, who is still looking to complete his first 90-minute appearance since his move to Stamford Bridge.

FINISH THE XI to face Port Vale

Remember: Enzo Fernandez will not be available…

Joao Pedro will start in the number 10 role, a rarity for him this season after having asked to play up front for the majority of the campaign.

On the right, Estevao Willian will make his return to the starting side after a bright cameo off the bench against Everton last time out.

The left wing will be occupied by Alejandro Garnacho, although he is under pressure to deliver as Jamie Gittens prepares for his comeback.

Up front, it could be last chance saloon for Liam Delap, who has found more joy in the FA Cup than any other competition so far this season.
