Nic Nemeth will have an NFL legend in his corner at TNA Rebellion, where he is scheduled to face a former WWE star.
During the Sacrifice PPV, Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) was blindsided by a mystery attacker. The former Dolph Ziggler challenged the mystery attacker for a match at the upcoming Rebellion event in his hometown of Cleveland.
While issuing the challenge, Nemeth also requested that the NFL legend and Cleveland Browns quarterback, Bernie Kosar, be in his corner. Kosar responded to the invitation, stating that he would be honored to do so. He said:
“April 11th, Rebellion is in our hometown. Nic, honored and humbled. Absolutely, I accept. Gonna be in your corner, bringing home the W on April 11th. You matter. Go Cleveland. Go Nic!”

During the April 2 episode of IMPACT, former WWE star AJ Francis (fka Top Dolla) scored a dominant victory over the Hometown Man. After the match, he revealed that it was he who had attacked Nemeth, setting up their match at Rebellion.

Besides Nic Nemeth’s match, the show will also play host to five championship matches. Trey Miguel, who recently returned to the company and is the current International Champion, will defend the title against Mustafa Ali. Arianna Grace will defend her Knockouts World Championship against Lei Ying Lee (fla Xia Li). Mike Santana will defend the TNA World Championship against Eddie Edwards, who earned the opportunity when he picked the correct briefcase in the Feast or Fired match.
The Hardys will put their Tag Team Championships on the line against Bear Bronson and Brian Myers from The System. Cedric Alexander will challenge current X-Division Champion Leon Slater for the title. The card will also see a six-woman Hardcore Country tag team match between The Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather, and M by Elegance) go up against the team of Mickie James, ODB, and Taryn Terell.
Moose will have a singles match against Special Agent 0 from Order 4, and Frankie Kazarian will take on Elijah (fka Elias).
The event is scheduled to take place on April 11 and will emanate from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
