Here's everything you need to know about the new platform showing Manchester City vs Liverpool:
The move to HBO Max: As of March 26, 2026, TNT Sports has officially migrated from discovery+ to the new HBO Max platform. This transition is part of a global rollout, making HBO Max the definitive streaming home for all premium sports content previously found on discovery+.
How to watch on HBO Max: If you are an existing TNT Sports subscriber, you can log into the HBO Max app using your current discovery+ credentials. The app is available on smart TVs, mobile devices and games consoles.
Streaming for Sky and Virgin customers: Those who access TNT Sports through their Sky, Virgin Media, or EE TV packages will not see a change to their linear TV channels. However, if you wish to stream the content on the go, you must now download and use the HBO Max app rather than the old discovery+ app.
Man City vs Liverpool timings: The match kicks off at 12.45pm on Saturday and is, as mentioned, live on TNT Sports 1 and via HBO Max. City, the beaten finalists in last season's FA Cup, are chasing a domestic cup double following their Carabao Cup win.
Manchester City team news: Pep Guardiola is close to full strength, though he remains cautious about a few minor knocks picked up during the international break and was without Ruben Dias for the Carabao Cup final in March. Guardiola's side are aiming to reach their seventh consecutive FA Cup semi-final, a record-breaking feat.
Liverpool team news: The Reds are without several senior stars including goalkeeper Alisson but could welcome back Alexander Isak after injury. Arne Slot's side are chasing a first domestic victory since they beat Wolves in the previous round of the cup, having drawn with Tottenham and lost to Brighton in their last two league outings.
Saturday's other FA Cup games: The second quarter-final sees Chelsea take on Port Vale at 5.15pm on Saturday at Stamford Bridge, with the game shown live on BBC One. Southampton vs Arsenal is Sunday's late game, at 8pm, with coverage available on BBC One and TNT Sports 1.
Sunday's quarter-final: The final quarter-final is set for Sunday, April 5, at 4.30pm and will be broadcast on ITV1. It's another all-Premier League affair, with West Ham hosting Leeds at the London Stadium.
