F1 Drivers' 'Keeping Up With the Hamiltons' Joke Fuels Kim Kardashian Rumors

Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian have been spotted together at the Super Bowl, in Paris, in Arizona, and most recently in Tokyo, just days before the Japanese Grand Prix. Neither has confirmed a relationship. But when Formula 1's own drivers were asked a simple question on camera, the paddock gave its verdict anyway.

In a 'Fill in the Blanks' game on the official F1 YouTube channel, drivers were asked which of their peers was most likely to go on a reality TV show. Esteban Ocon's answer, "Keeping Up With the Hamiltons," brought the house down, and Lando Norris' follow-up made sure everyone knew exactly what was being implied.

Every Driver Had a Different Answer, Until They Didn't

The question sent the paddock in several directions at once. Oliver Bearman, Isack Hadjar, and Arvid Lindblad all pointed to Norris. Alex Albon threw out Liam Lawson's name, insisting he had "that vibe." Lawson himself nominated George Russell. Oscar Piastri agreed, also going with Russell. Meanwhile, Russell and Franco Colapinto pointed the finger at Gasly.

Then it was Ocon's turn.

He paused, looked like he was debating whether to say it, and went ahead anyway. "Lewis," he said, followed by "Keeping Up With the Hamiltons." The crew laughed. Lando Norris and Gabriel Bortoleto followed with Hamilton's name. Fernando Alonso said, "Hamilton." Pierre Gasly said, "Lewis Hamilton," and then looked around, confused, asking why everyone was laughing.

Norris wrapped it up with a simple: "IYKYK," also giving a nod to the ongoing Hamilton-Kardashian dating rumors.

The Joke Everyone in the Paddock Already Understood

The "Keeping Up With the Hamiltons" line is a direct reference to Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality show that made Kim Kardashian a household name, and the connection the F1 paddock was clearly nodding at.

Hamilton and Kardashian were first seen together at a New Year's Eve party in Aspen in early 2026. By February, they had been spotted arriving together in Paris by private jet, fueling speculation further. Their most prominent public appearance came at Super Bowl LX, where they sat side by side at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Most recently, the pair were seen together in Tokyo on March 22, with Kardashian spotted wrapping her arm around Hamilton while accompanied by her sister Khloe and son Saint.

Hamilton has remained tight-lipped throughout, saying, "It's my private life, I'm not going to talk about that" when asked about the rumors. Neither has officially confirmed the relationship.

The F1 paddock, however, appears to have already made up its mind.

The Paddock Knows Something

What made Ocon's joke land so hard was not just the line itself, but the fact that almost every driver who followed independently landed on the same answer. The laugh was not just at the joke. It was recognition.

Gasly's genuine confusion about why everyone was laughing only added to it. For the rest of the paddock, no explanation was needed.

For Hamilton, the seven-time world champion who has carefully kept his personal life off the record all season, his own colleagues just said more in a YouTube game than he has in any press conference.
