Manchester City starting XI and team news to face Liverpool FC in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Manchester City have named their starting line up to face Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday lunchtime.

The Blues won a piece of silverware last time out and will hope to keep their hopes of another trophy alive when they face Arne Slot's side at the Etihad Stadium today. City have made one change to their side for the match, with Marc Guehi replacing Nathan Ake from the team that defeated Arsenal in the League Cup final before the March international break.

Liverpool have made three changes from their defeat to Brighton last time out, with Mohamed Salah named in the line up after his recent injury issues. Alexander Isak is not fit enough for a place in the squad despite his recent return to training.

Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City side against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final.

James Trafford keeps his place in goal after his Wembley heroics, with Marc Guehi partnered by Abdukodir Khusanov in the heart of the defence. Matheus Nunes and Nico O’Reilly are the selections at full-back.

It means that Rodri starts in the base of midfield alongside Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki. Erling Haaland has been selected to lead the line with Antoine Semenyo and Jeremy Doku in the wide roles.
