Bo Nix had a good 2025 season with the Denver Broncos, though they could not achieve to win anything significant. The Broncos finished the regular season with a 14-3 record and had secured the #1 overall seed in the AFC.
They went through the playoffs to the AFC Championship game, which they lost 7-10 to the New England Patriots. The players are now enjoying the offseason period, and Nix has shared an update about his family.
Bo Nix and wife Izzy’s daughter Riley attends first church service
Nix and his wife Izzy welcomed their newborn daughter Riley Belle Nix on February 25, 2026. She is the couple’s first child, marking a new chapter in their relationship and lives. The couple first met at Auburn University, where he played as a quarterback for their college football program and she served as a cheerleader.

In the current offseason, Izzy shared an important milestone for her daughter. The family recently attended a church service on Good Friday, just one month after the birth of their daughter. She shared an image of her infant daughter sleeping in a stroller in her Instagram stories. The caption simply said, “& to her first church service” along with a teary-eyed emoji and a dove emoji.
Bo and his wife have always emphasized the role of faith in their lives. Just after their daughter was born, Izzy shared the news on Instagram with the caption, “Riley Belle Nix arrived on her dad’s birthday — 2/25/26 at 4:45pm, 6 lbs 11 oz. The best birthday party I’ve ever been to!!!!!!” Coincidentally, it was also the quarterback’s birthday.
Izzy also included the Bible verse from 1 Samuel 1:27: “For this child, I have prayed.”, and also added, “We are overwhelmed by the goodness of God and immeasurable joy that we have experienced this week! Thank you, Jesus, for choosing us to shepherd over her life.” Bo has previously talked about his faith.
Bo Nix advises student athletes on importance of faith
Bo attended an event on July 16, 2025 named Night of Champions at the First Baptist Church Bentonville, Arkansas. The event saw more than 1,300 student athletes and coaches come to hear the Broncos star player speak about faith.
During his speech, he spoke about the story of Daniel from the Christian Bible, and shared the lesson of how to stand apart from others and not having to fit in at times. He then said, “You’ve got to have a close tight circle, guys you can truly count on, and they’ll help you know the truth, know who God is. You’ve got to have your priorities right. You’ve got to be thinking about the right things or you’re just gonna fall.”
Bo Nix is currently enjoying the offseason with his family, and will soon have to prepare for the next season.
