It looks like the Seattle Seahawks are hot on the running back trail for the 2026 NFL Draft, and one of the top Scouting Combine performers his set to meet with them in the coming weeks.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that Seattle will have former Arkansas star Mike Washington Jr in for a top 30 visit.
With his 4.33 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, Mike Washington Jr could be the explosive threat the Seahawks need to add to their RB room given the departure of K9, but there are questions with his ball security after 10 fumbles in college. After three years at Buffalo and one year at New Mexico State, Washington cracked 1,000 yards at Arkansas on just 167 carries, good for 6.4 yards per rush.
Bringing the 6’1, 223 lbs Washington into the VMAC will allow the team to see if he’ll be a fit for their second-round pick, as that’s likely where they’d need to select him. Either way, they’re doing their due diligence at one of their few positions of need heading into the 2026 NFL Draft.
