Chelsea left-back Jorrel Hato got the ball rolling for the Blues in their 7-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Port Vale, and admitted his dreams were coming true.
It took Hato just two minutes to find the net as Chelsea ran riot, breaking a 100-year FA Cup record for scoring 4+ goals in four consecutive games.
The Netherlands international enjoyed a very strong personal performance off the back of featuring heavily for his country during the international break.

“It’s my tournament, isn’t it? I’m very happy to score my first goal at Stamford Bridge, very happy.”
Hato has started every single FA Cup game for the Blues so far this season, and will certainly be competing for a spot in the side at Wembley.

Hato sends message in Marc Cucurella’s absence
Hato got the start for Chelsea ahead of Marc Cucurella, who put himself in the headlines during the international break for the wrong reasons.
The Spaniard avoided a suspension which has been imposed on Enzo Fernandez, although was an unused substitute as the Dutchman starred at left-back.
There is still a belief that Cucurella, who signed a new contract with the club this season, is still one of the key players at the club, and will start against Manchester City next week.
However, he will be well aware of the challenge Hato is now providing for his place between now and the end of the season.
