Marcus Rashford scored his first Barcelona goal since January at the perfect time to power Barcelona’s latest win at Atletico Madrid.
The 2-1 win against Atletico sees Barcelona take a huge step towards winning the league title after Real Madrid’s loss against Mallorca.
Marcus Rashford was at the centre of proceedings as he scored a brilliant first-half goal to draw things level after Atletico had taken the lead.
Hansi Flick broke his silence on Rashford’s situation at Nou Camp amid rumours of Man Utd’s stance on him regarding a permanent summer sale.

Hansi Flick on Marcus Rashford’s Barcelona future
Barcelona continue to play a game of poker with Man Utd in public because their intention is to avoid paying the £25m to make his move permanent.
Flick, meanwhile, has continued to praise Rashford, and it’s hard to see where Barcelona can get a player of this quality for this fee elsewhere in the market.
The Spanish press weren’t fond of Rashford’s performance against Atletico, but his end product is undeniable and speaks for itself.

Flick was the same after the game, saying that he’s “very happy” with Rashford’s performance and his “important goal”, adding that he’s “shown his quality”.
When prompted to speak on his future, Flick, probably directed by those above him, remained tight-lipped and urged everyone to focus on the matches ahead.
He said: “I’m very happy with Marcus. He has shown his quality, and he scored an important goal. I can’t say anything about his future; we have to focus on the matches until the end of the season.”
Man Utd have a clear stance on Rashford
Barcelona are clearly stuttering and posturing in public to put pressure on United, but, if anything, Rashford’s performances provide more clarity to United.

Had he been struggling, United would have had a headache on their hands in the summer.
As it stands, they know that if Barcelona don’t pay for him, many other clubs will, and with Michael Carrick at the helm, he’s perfect for United as well.
It’s £25m right now or bust for Barcelona from Man Utd’s perspective, which is exactly the way it should be.
Flick is sending thinly veiled messages to the board that he wants Rashford back at Barcelona next season, so the ball is in their court.
