Alejandro Garnacho burned bridges on his way out of Manchester United and his move to Chelsea has not gone to plan at all.
Manchester United fans have no time or patience for Alejandro Garnacho after his dramatic exit last summer.
Garnacho lashed out at Ruben Amorim following the Europa League final defeat and ended up being part of the ‘bomb squad’ kept away from the first team.
Since moving to London, Garnacho has struggled for minutes at Chelsea, and now his 2026 World Cup dreams are in trouble after being left out of the Argentina squad.
Garnacho has failed to impress at Chelsea, and now it seems his time at Stamford Bridge could already be coming to an end.

Was Garnacho’s ‘attitude’ the issue, or is he just not suited to the Premier League’s top level?

Chelsea open to offers for Alejandro Garnacho this summer
When United sold him last summer, Garnacho was warned he was just an investment opportunity for Chelsea.
The Blues have adopted a business plan of signing youngsters and selling them on for profit, and it seems Garnacho is nothing more than just a cog in their system.

According to journalist Simon Phillips on his Substack, Chelsea are already open to offers for Garnacho in the upcoming summer transfer window.
“Chelsea believe that Garnacho would have a lot of suitors willing to basically pay the same fee that they did to sign him last summer,” Phillips wrote.
“The club apparently believed that the left wing market was dry last summer – but there have been some recruitment regrets from the summer too.”

Alejandro Garnacho is already being replaced
At United, Ineos upgraded from Garnacho to Matheus Cunha, and the Brazilian has enjoyed a wonderful debut campaign at Old Trafford.
But even Chelsea have already begun their plan to replace Garnacho before he has even left Stamford Bridge. The Blues already have a host of wingers playing ahead of the Argentine, including Estevao, Jamie Gittens and Pedro Neto.
This summer, Geovany Quenda is joining Chelsea instead of United. The Blues struck a deal for the Sporting star last summer, and his arrival at Stamford Bridge will only push Garnacho further down the pecking order.

United are also in the market for a left winger, and Garnacho has quickly been forgotten about having once been hailed as a future star at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old will surely have huge regrets about his actions last season…
