Manchester United will want to offload Andre Onana this summer after solving their goalkeeper situation through the signing of Senne Lammens.
The £19 million signing of Senne Lammens last summer was somewhat of a risk for Ineos given he was an unknown name to many Manchester United fans.
But Lammens has been a huge upgrade on Andre Onana, who was loaned to Trabzonspor for the 2025/26 campaign after his disappointing performances for the Red Devils.
While Onana wants to fight for his United career, Ineos will be eager to sell the 30-year-old goalkeeper as soon as possible.

Man United need £19m from Andre Onana sale to avoid PSR blow
United signed Onana for £43m from Inter Milan in 2023, but he quickly fell out of favour at Old Trafford because of his error-prone performances.
According to The Sun, United need a £19 million transfer fee to avoid marking down Andre Onana as a PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) loss.
Onana’s contract with United is valid until 2028, so his fee is still being amortised by United for a further two years.

According to reports in March, United wanted £39m for Onana, but that seems an unrealistic target given he has been underwhelming in Turkey.
Onana has attracted interest from Italy, and a return to Inter could be on the cards.

Andre Onana sale will wipe £6m off wage book
If Onana is sold this summer by United, it will also give Ineos more financial flexibility by clearing his wages off the books.
Onana earns £120,000 per week at United, which equates to £6.2 million over the course of a year.
Reports claimed Onana was ‘shocked’ at his pay cut at United when the Red Devils missed out on Champions League football.

A return to the Champions League would give Onana a pay rise in 2026/27 despite him not contributing to the qualification.
His wages are far too much for United to accept Onana as a back-up keeper next season, so the pressure is on Ineos to secure a permanent sale.
