FA Cup semi-final draw in full as Chelsea, Man City and Leeds United learn opponents

The FA Cup semi-final draw has been confirmed. Following their upset of Arsenal, Southampton have been rewarded with a Wembley Stadium showdown against Manchester City later this month. Pep Guardiola's men have contested the last three FA Cup finals but have only won one, and lost the last two.

The other semi-final sees eight-time winners Chelsea, who have not won this competition since 2018, face Leeds United in a grudge match. The Whites are into the semis for the first time in 39 years after beating West Ham on penalties.

City secured their spot in the final four with a 4-0 battering of Premier League rivals Liverpool. Erling Haaland's hat-trick, and Antoine Semenyo's chip, put the Reds to the sword at the Etihad Stadium.

City have been runners-up in both of the last two seasons and are bidding to contest their fourth successive FA Cup final after last winning it in 2023.

Chelsea have similarly lost their last three finals since winning it in 2018, and progressed to the semis with a 7-0 hammering of League One strugglers Port Vale with six different Blues finding the scoresheet.

While Southampton stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal thanks to a Shea Charles 85th-minute winner at St Mary's. Viktor Gyokeres had cancelled out Ross Stewart's opener before Charles secured an almighty upset for the Championship Saints.

In the last quarter-final, Leeds secured their first semi-final since 1987 in very dramatic fashion. Ao Tanaka's finish and a penalty from Dominic Calvert-Lewin had given the Whites a healthy lead. But after 11 minutes of added time were awarded, Mateus Fernandes halved the deficit in the 93rd minute before Axel Disasi sparked wild scenes with an equaliser in the 97th.

West Ham's Taty Castellanos had two goals disallowed for offside in extra time before Leeds triumphed 4-2 in the penalty shootout after misses from Jarrod Bowen and Pablo.
