**Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has revealed that he is hoping to be back in full training “by the end of April”.**
Head coach Arne Slot had initially said that the Brazilian would only return close to the end of the season, but Alisson wanted to clarify the situation, and he posted on his X account to say:
“I didn’t suffer a new injury. I’m in the treatment phase, and the plan is to be in full playing condition by the end of April!”
The Brazilian international picked up a muscular injury prior to the 2-1 defeat to Brighton last month.
How many games could Alisson miss?
----------------------------------
The 33-year-old will be out for at least six matches, while he could also be unavailable for a seventh if the Reds make it throught to the FA Cup semi-finals.
As things stand, Alisson will be absent for the [**quarter-final tie against Manchester City**](https://walkon.com/blog/liverpool-predicted-linup-vs-man-city-fa-cup/) this weekend, the two legs of the Champions League quarter-final versus Paris Saint-Germain, as well as the league fixtures against Fulham, Everton and Crystal Palace.
Including the Merseyside derby, Liverpool’s no.1 has been ruled out for four massive games, which is a big blow.
