According to journalist Falk, Arsenal are expected to make a formal offer to sign Leverkusen striker Kofane in the summer transfer window.
His agent recently claimed that he's an £87m player, but the Bundesliga outfit could demand less than that for him to depart later this year.
Falk has also added that, although Bayern are admirers of Kofane, they won't want to enter into a bidding war, giving Arsenal a boost in their pursuit of the 19-year-old forward.
Kofane, described as 'elite', is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming strikers in world football at the moment, making a total of 25 Bundesliga appearances this season at the age of 19.
