Chelsea have been drawn against Leeds United in the FA Cup semi-finals after both sides reached the last four of the competition, at the expense of Port Vale and Axel Disasi’s West Ham.
Chelsea cruised into the last four of the competition with a 7-0 win over League One side Port Vale. Liam Rosenior’s side are yet to play a Premier League team in the tournament, but they will do later this month.
Leeds, meanwhile, looked comfortable until injury time, when West Ham scored two goals to make it 2-2. The second came through Chelsea loanee Axel Disasi, only for Leeds to win via a penalty shootout.

Joe Cole described the clash between Leeds and Chelsea as “feisty” after he did the semi-final draw with Jermaine Beckford. After the draw was made, former Leeds and Chelsea star Tony Dorigo had his say.
Tony Dorigo explains why Leeds can beat Chelsea
Dorigo played 178 times for Chelsea during a four-year stint between 1987 and 1991 before moving to Elland Road, where he would remain for a further six years. Dorigo played 208 times for the Whites.
These days, the 15-time England international is a commentator for LUTV and during Sunday’s coverage of Leeds’ penalty-shootout win over Chelsea, he explained why he thinks Leeds can cause an upset.

“Clearly, they have a few issues. They have very talented players, absolutely, we know that. The individuals they have, the money they have spent, they are very technically gifted,” Dorigo said on Sunday evening.
“But are they the best team they could be together? No, they are not. And that is where I think we excel, you know, as a unit, as a team. We get the most out of what we have got,” the commentator continued.
Liam Rosenior’s record against Daniel Farke is a poor one
The FA Cup semi-final, to be played at Wembley on the weekend of April 25th and 26th, will see Rosenior and Daniel Farke share a dugout for a fourth time. The two did battle twice while Rosenior was at Hull.
Tosin is the answer to Rosenior’s defensive woes 👊
Impeccable performance against Port Vale.
The first meeting resulted in a 0-0 draw at Elland Road, with Joe Rodon receiving his marching orders. The second, a 3-1 win for Leeds. We all know what happened when Leeds came to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea were leading 2-0, only for Leeds to make it 2-2 and Cole Palmer to miss a golden chance right at the death. If Chelsea are to surpass Leeds and reach the FA Cup final, Rosenior needs a career first.
The former Strasbourg manager needs a win against Farke, in what will be his fourth attempt. Chelsea’s players will be looking for revenge, having lost 3-1 at Elland Road with Enzo Maresca still manager.
