Arsenal have been in contact over a deal to sign Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Gunners are expected to be busy in the summer transfer market once again this year, as they look to press ahead with improving the squad despite currently leading the Premier League table and being in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Midfield could be a position that the club are keen to strengthen after seeing Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice pick up niggles later in the season, and Christian Norgaard not being up to the required level, and now Camavinga has emerged as an option.

Camavinga, who has been described as 'extraordinary' by Carlo Ancelotti, is understood to be someone who Real Madrid are open to selling this summer as they look to refresh their squad.
The France international joined the club from Rennes as a teenager in a deal worth around £30m back in 2021, but has struggled to cement himself as a regular starter at the Bernabeu, and is now being considered for a move away.
According to Sky Sports journalist Tavolieri, Arsenal have been contacted by CAA Stellar Agency about a potential move to sign the talented midfielder this summer, with Los Blancos said to be looking for a fee of around €80m (£69.7m).
The Gunners see his ability to play in multiple midfield roles, and even at left-back, as very appealing. Arsenal are said to be at the front of the queue should a move happen, but at the moment Camavinga is battling to save his future at Madrid, as he sees it as his dream club, and he wants to regain the trust of the club's management.
Camavinga Would Be Unbelievable Signing

With Norgaard clearly not good enough for the highest level, and Mikel Merino becoming a player who is far more effective further forward rather than deeper means that a new midfielder is necessary.
Camavinga has got experience at the highest level, while his energy and quality on the ball would be a huge upgrade to those options, and provide lots of competition for Rice and Zubimendi, giving Arteta more options and more profiles to work with.
It won't be an easy deal to do, but bringing the 23-year-old to the Emirates Stadium would be a huge coup for everyone involved.
