The New York Giants might have a superstar defender on the trade block and the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars are rumored to have interest.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Giants superstar defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade over his dissatisfaction with his contract.
"Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday," Schefter reported.
"Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources," Schefter added.

Three teams that are already rumored to have interest in Lawrence are the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, per Easton Butler of Packer Report.
Butler adds that in order to start trade talks with New York, it would take a Quinnen Williams-type package, which was a second-round pick, a first-round pick and a player (defensive lineman Mazi Smith).
Why Packers, Bills, Jaguars have interest
It's understandable why any team would have interest in Lawrence, who is an elite interior defender, but it's especially understandable why the Packers, Bills, and Jaguars are stepping forward.
The Packers have a need on the inside of their defensive line in the new 3-4 defense defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon will be running. Their current options are Nazir Stackhouse and Jonathan Ford, neither of whom are starting-caliber players.
The Bills are currently slated to rely on Deone Walker as their nose tackle. That's problematic because the jury is still out on the former fourth-round pick, who particularly struggled against the run last season.
The Jaguars actually had the best run defense in the NFL last season, but they could use more pass-rush juice up the middle, and an upgrade over DaVon Hamilton entirely.
