There have been a lot of major debates about where the Chicago Bears are going to be playing home games in the future. Chicago for now plays at Solider Field in Chicago, Illinois. However, the Bears organization has been looking at potential stadium sites in Arlington Heights, Illinois and also in Northwest Indiana as well. A lot of Bears fans will be furious of the franchise moves out of the state of Illinois entirely and moves to Indiana.

Adam Schefter of ESPN posted a critical update about the Bears on Twitter and said, “The Chicago Bears will decide where to build their new stadium in the next few weeks, per league sources. If Illinois doesn’t pass legislation for Arlington Heights soon, sources believe the Bears are likely to be Indiana bound. Two proposed sites in Chicago are not considered feasible, per sources; next to Soldier Field for political reasons, and the land known as Michael Reese was evaluated and rejected by the NFL and the Bears.” There are a lot of Chicago fans that have been blaming Illinois Government officials for this potentially happening here.

There are a lot of Chicago fans that are not thrilled about what is going on with this stadium situation. Bears fans want the team to stay in Illinois and not move to Indiana. This is what some of them had to say about the current situation on Twitter:

It honestly wouldn’t feel right if the Bears left Illinois

There is no doubt that many Chicago fans are going to be annoyed at Governor J.B. Pritzker and Mayor Johnson if they do leave Chicago. Bears fans love their team no doubt and they don’t want to see them leaving Illinois for Indiana because of crooked politicians.
